Story Coach Training
An opportunity to learn the powerful Children at the Well method of storycoaching from master storyteller and educator Norah Dooley
To ensure sustainability of our programs, we piloted the Story Coach Training workshop in November 2024, for educators at heart who understand the importance of our mission and have an interest in leading after-school sessions.
Upon successful completion of the 21-hour foundational course, participants advance, in the spring, as paid assistants in a 20 to 25-hour afterschool Children at the Well practicum involving observation, writing, and applied experiences.
Together, the foundational course along with the Spring practicum will prepare teaching artists/story coaches to successfully lead after-school Power Tellers and/or Children at the Well sessions.
